Both catches have the same moral. Mars is a tool with no off switch, and tools get judged by what you brought them to do.

Say a city sits with Mars 0.7 degrees from the Midheaven, and the relocation chart shows the Sun holding the 10th house with a clean purity bar. The read is a career engine with the fuel gauge full. This is a city for a launch year: the pitch gets made, the extra hour gets worked, the competitor gets beaten.

Now give the same city to someone coming off burnout, prescribed rest by everyone who loves them. The chart has not changed. Mars is still 0.7 from the Midheaven, still loud, still demanding. For that reader the line is not a tailwind. It is a treadmill with no stop button.

Same city, same Mars, opposite medicine. The forecast can time the sprint inside the strong weeks. Nothing can make the sprint right for the wrong chapter.

Any chapter that runs on softness should think twice. Healing, reconciliation, early parenthood, recovery of any kind: these ask a place to lower the temperature, and Mars only knows how to raise it. People who flee burnout to a Mars line often report the same strange year, rested in body, wired in spirit, picking fights with the furniture.

The honest test stays the same every time. Check the Mars lines of your past cities against what actually happened there: the arguments, the output, the injuries from rushing.
